Whats The Best 19" CRT?

I'm thinkin about getting a new 19" monitor.

Sony G420S if you can get your hands on one. I have that and a Viewsonic P95F+ and the Viewsonic is crap compared to the Sony. Sony stopped making these monitors however so some stores wouldn't have stock. Look around its worth it if you get at least 2 years of the 3 year warranty (if its been sitting on the shelf for a year since manufactured).

my sony g420s could do that at only 85hz. 1600x1200 at only 75hz

uh check again
maybe you bought a knockoff
the G420S can do 1600x1200 @ 85 and 1280x1024 @ 100 or thereabouts

i have the Sony G410..it kicks ass, great for gameing...

if so thats wierd cuz monitor INF is installed, using 4200. 4200 has 350 ramdac, so its not the video card. but i could only get it when i deselect "hide mode not support by monitor"
