Whats the Best looking PSU

Whats the Best looking PSU of 450watts+ to go in to my case (see sig) I am doing my yearly upgrade and need a good looking psu for my acrylic case. It needs to be beefy as its going to have 2 x 2800mp cpu's in a msi k7d. Thanks!

You are probably the only person here who actually might need a PSU that beefy... Check out case-mods.com. They'll do anything you want to a powersupply. For a price of about $150 or so.

How about this Aspire Aluminum ATX-AS500W PSU ?

It's what I got for my case...though it probably will look even better in yours.

p.s. Is that a hot plate for coffee on top of your case? Great idea

I like the look of a ThermalTake Xaser PSU.

Ive NEVER heard of a bad Tt PSU yet, not even a call for RMA. Im running a Thermaltake Purepower 430W and its brilliant. Rock steady and not absurdly expensive.

If you want quality and looks get an Antec TrueBlue 480 (I have one -- it's awesome) or a Kingwin 450W. If looks and advertised wattage are enough, then the Aspire 500W and the Aerocool 420W would both match the "theme" of your rig.

Actually, if you are running two CPUs you are going to want to carefully check the wattage on the rails with each power supply. For example, the Kingwin only has 18A on the 12V rail.

The Antec TrueBlue480 is hard to beat. You can get one for $81.xx plus tax (if applicable) from Staples plus coupon from fat wallet.

Cheers! I have had that display so long now I cant remember where I got it from its a 6.4" screen (i think) that has svideo output and runs off the usual molex connector. It probably about 2yrs old now.

Found a link to a similar review here but Overclockers hideout who I think I might have got the LCD from dont seem to exist anymore.

How much was that? Where'd you get it? Can you give a review after you've tried it out, that looks very cool, I might get the 420 watt version.

The cheapest I found it was from Aria as I am UK based. It looks pretty cool has a 60 second 100watt overdrive and has a cable with 3 molex connectors for fans which can be controlled by the PSU according to tempreture - which is a good gimmick.

Arrived and installed today (see sig for pics), along with some artic silver 5 my machine is buzzing along at 2.35ghz with no problems. The PSU is top notch, only problems is that I have had to remove some cables as their is so many! the 4 Fan cables are excellent for quieting down the machine without resorting to a Fanbus (I havent got room for one.)

I have a Super Flower 450W that I got from directron. It's got plenty of power, 4 LED fans, and a mirror finish. I would definitely recommend looking into it.
