i have only 2 usb slots on my macbook, is there is device which i can plug into one of my usb slot and split it to multiple usb slots. what's it called? Thanks. i am too noob.

You need a usb hub. These generally come with conections for 4 to 8 usb slots. About $16 to 30.

And, if you get a USB hub for your MacBook, make sure it is a powered hub, i.e., with its own power brick.
