What's up with India?

A total of 1 medal in the Olympics for a country with 1 billion people. The same thing happened in the last Olympic in Sydney.

I think it was one medal as well in 1996. India has gotta step up the sports funding soon to break the ugly streak for the coming 2008 Olympics.

I think india has bigger probs then sports funding. But you are right, a country with over a billion people should have more then 1 medal.

I think india has bigger probs then sports funding. But you are right, a country with over a billion people should have more then 1 medal.

They should have cricket in the Olympic games. That'll generate alot more interest in India.
