Yep, that pretty much describes it and the Indian mentality towards sports.

Sheesh!! That game?!!!! Oh how silly of me - let me give it a try - Americans do well at the Olympics because their black sportsmen are descended from slaves who were whipped and made to slog in plantations and starved nearly to death. The slave owners trained them to work with animal-like efficiency and obedience.

Sorry, I don't think I am very good at this game. Perhaps it takes a certain level of ignorance to play it well

i'm sure one of the reasons has to be Cricket... it is so damn popular it just sucks out all commercial endorsement money that goes into sports. there's little left for anything else. every damn kid wants to be the next big cricketer
