what's wrong with my barricade?

I'm having this problem where I have to reset my SMC Barricade 7004 router every couple of days. It's fine if I'm just browsing the internet but everytime I play a game, particularly Starcraft and/or Counter-Strike, my router will mess up and not allow me to get online. Resetting the router fixes the problem, but it's kind of annoying to have to do it every other day. The router is set to lease forever, and the MAC address has been cloned. I reset the router using the configuration page to make sure that the settings were applied, but it's not helping. Can someone tell me what's wrong? Thanks in advance.

Have you made changes to the port settings or enabled the access control? Mine barricade is set to what is default and i'm able to play CS and DOD just fine.

Thanks for the reply. I forwarded port 6112 UDP and 27015 TCP for Starcraft and Counter-Strike respectively. I'll double check though

Do you have the latest firmware for the router?

Thanks Hoober. I believe I do (version 1.40.001, and boot code 1.10). Those are the latest from the SMC website the last time I checked. I disabled all port settings, so I guess I'll have to wait and see if that helps. Where do I enable access control?

I have the 7004BR w/ the 1.90h firmware version and on the web configurator there's a link to Access Controls and at the top theres a check box to enable your own port settings and stuff which mine is unchecked. Not sure if the 7004ABR has something different if that's what you have.

Thanks rockshox72. I found the latest firmware, and it's been working good so far. I guess what you're talking about is the Special Application page on my router configuration.
