What's your favorite board game?

The topic for the thread: What's your favorite board game, and why is it your favorite?

Mine would have to be one called "Betrayal at House on the Hill". It's spooky, features fifty different scenarios, and has a house that's completely randomly built every time you play.

I really liked Acquire. Much more interesting than Monopoly, if I remember right. I only played the older version, but I plan to buy the re-release soon.

I like games that require you to interact with the other players by talking and making strategies and plans. In that respect I like Risk and Monopoly a lot (due to the trading and making of deals in both games). Do any other games fulfill that criteria?

Hmm.....It is a toss up between Monopoly, Chess or Checkers.

Monopoly is also cool. I have a Special Edition based in my home town

Brighton & Hove Edition.
