being able to book a company car or make a rental and go do field work. nothing is more satisfying some mornings than coming in, packing up and getting the hell out of here.

Same here.......telling people I'm a PC/Networking Engineer just because it sounds better than Technician. That and two breakrooms stocked with food and drinks.

Free drinks, snacks
Free lunch once or twice a week.
Massage on fridays (they started it during tax season and kept doing it, but I do IT work)
Of course I don't get the lunch or massage since I get off work at 11:30am (start at 5:30am). But I guess that is ok too

Where in the hell do you work?

Respect and trust.

This is the first place I've worked at in some time where I'm treated like a family member and fully trusted in my work and I give no reasons to do otherwise here or in previous jobs.

I also like that we close down from before Christmas until after New Years.

Plus I just got a new laptop (Dell D630) and a Black Berry 8830.

Flexibility and understanding from my manager is awesome also, like when my wife went in for a planned surgery and while in there they discovered her appendix was about to burst and had to remove it on the spot, my work was cool as hell about missing a bunch of time so I could take care of her while she was recovering.

No dress code other than to wear decent clothes (t-shirts, jeans, etc, no shorts though). I usually leave 1-2 hours early if I don't have any work and still get paid for it. I can get cheap/free signs, banners, etc for friends and family if I make them myself.

Clicky for picture of the latest freebie, a 3' x 8' banner. It is just the artwork, I forgot to take a picture of the banner itself. It came out pretty nice on semi-gloss banner material.

I joke that it's the free pop, but the biggest thing is the free parking. It's absolutely ridiculous that any company would ever make employees pay to park at work.
