Looks like ill be able to squeeze 35 mpg from our newer CRV, so no prob. It 's really quite amazing for such a large car.
My 98 Chevy pickup may get 10 on a good day, but that only goes out for duty.

I gassed up at Costco a few days before driving to Lucerne, CA. Cost $4.999/gallon. Stayed a day or two, my host told me that the Indian owned gas station outside of town sells gas for $0.75 less/gallon because they don't have to pay taxes. I gassed up before driving back to the Bay Area, at $4.699/gallon. 5 days later (yesterday) I hit Costco again, here in Bay Area. $4.699/Gallon. Maybe the Indians weren't so generous? Dunno. I did pour a container of Techron into my gas tank before the trip. Got ~28mph on the ~65-70mph trip, which surprised me. Average around town I get 18mph, maybe 22mph if I'm doing much highway driving, but this trip was 95+% highway.

Yeah, I get 4% discount using my Costco Visa CC.

My little Civic only has a capacity of about 10 or 11 gallons and I was down to the warning light last time. Think it took about 10gallons and it was almost $37.

Weird thing though. NJ must be cracking down on topping off tanks since the attendant didn't even try to hit the next whole dollar amount. Either that or he was looking for tips.

But who tips their attendant?

Anyway, I gave him $36 and 3 quarters. Hahaha
