OK, this is going to sound goofy, but I think everyone has a song that they consider "theirs".
Mine is really kind of embarrassing, but I am just in the mood to share!
When I was in the 7th grade, Patrick Spoletini, John Ickes, and Robert Hart would sing "Brick House" by the Commodores to me when I would walk into our social studies class. (Guys, if you are reading this, thanks for the memories! You cracked me up. )
Normally, that sort of thing would piss me off (and it did not make the girls feel friendly towards me ) but they were so jolly about it that to this day that song brings a smile to my face.
So, whenever I hear that song, I am instantly transported to the 7th grade, which was a terrible year for me but yet the song remains. Funny how time goes by and I choose only to remember the things that made me smile...
What's your theme song?
