What are you supposed to do? Let it run or turn off the computer immediately?

Neither.

If you haven't done so already:
Right click My Computer > Advanced > Startup and Recovery > Settings > unchecK the Automatically Restart box.

Google the first series of numbers in the BSOD error code.

Whether you restart or let the crash dump continue depends on whether you will get any use out of the dump file in solving the problem.

You can also disable the creation of a crash dump file (or collect an abbreviated dump) at the above location.

That's already unchecked. So when I got a BSOD I'm supposed to find the error code and find out if I'm supposed to leave it or not?

You'll be lucky if the error code can tell you any useful information even after looking it up. Generally you get a BSOD for 1 of 2 reasons. You either have a hardware issue or software issue. Yes it seam kind of obvious doesn't it? Often if its a hardware issue it will be the RAM or HDD. So running a scan of your RAM with Memtest would be a good start. Often its something as small as reinstalling the drivers.

Alright i'll make sure I keep that in mind when I build my new computer in the next couple days.
