Lived in Germantown, MD (and a couple other places in Montgomery County) for 13 yrs.

Now living in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada.

Red Deer--nice! It used to be a quaint little town--by now I s'pose its a sprawling Calgary suburb? Used to go visit family there in the 80's (in Innisfail).

not quite, but it's getting there. it's all relative, tho. being from the D.C. area, it's still quaint to me. at least i don't have to commute 2-3 hours a day.

there was an article in the local paper recently about the first residential home inside the city to sell for $1,000,000. there's a LOT of money here from the oilfield...
