where can I buy ddr memory?

I have found a motherboard which supports ddr memory, the gigabyte GA-7Dx, however I am having problems finding memory for it. Does anyone know where ddr memory can be purchased online?

I think you need a cpu that's capable of 133 bus too.

actualy they are suposably able to run on 100mhz fsb too, and all you nead is pc-1600 dram, but if you get pc-2100 dram you can try the 133mhz fsb and your chip might take it.

You could try to underclock the multiplier to get the FSB to 133, as it is not limited by the AMD 760 chipset, as it was with the KT-133. I know my friend has a P2 multiplier underclocked from 4 to 3, and overclocked the FSB to 100, for the same speed (obviously more performance though). It's worth a shot, at any rate. What speed cpu do you have?

Well of course 1.2ghz t-birds with the 12x multiplier wont run on a 133mhz fsb= 1.566ghz!!!! processor now i dont even see 1.2ghz athlons runing on a 100mhz fsb going past 1.433ghz. So what would make you think you could jump the fsb up to 133 to make it overclock faster i dont think so. HOWEVER the 800 at 8x by 133 will run at 1ghz and if you get a nice 900 at 9x by 133 that makes for 1.2ghz and if you get really lucky you could mabye even push your 1.0ghz at 10x by 133 makes 1.333ghz now all of the sudden your running at a higher fsb than ever before with the same processer you might of had before you upgraded your motherboard and ram and i think if your lucky enough it could last you till the palmino comes out early next year. witch would defianately replace the T-bird soon after it is released. Just make sure you get a quality video card or all that upgrading was down the drain.

or if you do have that 1.1 ghz or 1.2 ghz you might even try underclocking your fsb a little how bought a 1.1@124mhzX11 = 1.363 and the 1.2@116mhzX12=1.392 that would make the it of course you would loose some bandwidth but on the other hand bandwidth but hey thats why you buy the cheaper 900mhz x9 athlon and run it at 143mhz bus= 1.287ghz


Dont you just love amd so many choices so little time that is before the palmino gets here and this jiberish is just jiberish.
