Hi there,
I'm confused by the array of ATI Radeon cards on the market and their differences.
I'm mostly a desktop user and don't do gaiming, (at best a simulation game). I want to pair in i7 860 with a card that would support potentially a dual screen. I have settled for an ATI 4850 as it seems to be readily available and well supported. However, I don't know why I would prefer an XFX over a Gigabte card. They seem to have the very same specs.
Just in case I'd prefer a quieter card.
Is there some buying guide somewhere, that I have not found?
Also, is there a reason I'd need 1 GB or is 512 just enough?
