Ok so I've never been to a concert before but I really want to and there are quite a few good ones coming to the greater-Philadelphia area. I've picked out a few that I would like to go to, so now I would like to know which ones YOU would pick... Thanks!

Breaking Benjamin (Wachovia Arena -- Wilkes-Barre, PA)

Dragonforce (Electric Factory -- Philadelphia, PA)

Three Days Grace (House of Blues -- Atlantic City, NJ)

The Who (Wachovia Center -- Philadelphia, PA)

Eric Clapton (Wachovia Center -- Philadelphia, PA)

i can't believe dragonforce are still around. i remember hearing about them on mp3.com back in the day, like 5-6 years ago.

i'd go with Clapton.

I have a friend who has seen Breaking Benjamin live several times and he always raves about it, so if you like their music, I'd say go.

Clapton and the Who would probably put on good shows as well.

i'd go to dragonforce for the openers and then leave before dragonforce hits the stage

Ok, I am a HUGE Dragonforce fan, have been for about a year, I saw them live in Charlotte, NC and was totally, completely, unimpressed. The studio music builds your expectations way too much, and in concert its just way too much of the same stuff. I have seen Breaking Benjamin twice, and 3DG once, both put on a really good show. but man, for your first concert you have to go with Clapton or The Who, either one is guaranteed to blow you away. I mean your popping your concert cherry, do you really want it to be on a modern rock band?

I've been to many concerts, and I think the best one I've been to was Clapton. Man that guy rocks!

I would put seeing The Who live in the very highest category of performances, same as the Rolling Stones or even the Beatles.

If they can perform anywhere close to their glory days. Given the creative genius of Townsend, I bet their new stuff is interesting too.

None. All are crap and will likely set you back at least $60 a pop or so, no? The most i have ever paid for a show (havent been to a "concert" since junior high) is $15.

Breaking Benjamin is awesome in concert and brings tons of energy to the stage. Plus they sound better live than they do on their albums... just an overall incredible band. Clapton comes in a close 2nd to me - I would have rather seen him in his prime back w/ Cream.

If it has to be one, I've got to pick between the (only!) two I know...and it certainly would not be Eric Clapton. I guess Roger Daltrey is also a bit "slow" and fuddy duddy now...but at least they were exciting at one point in their history
