Which do you choose?

In all the time that I have spent on the internet, in chat rooms or elsewhere, the people that I meet usually want to know what I look like after a while. This is when I run across the same thing every time. So many people are so into the fact that women wear makeup, that when one that chooses to not wear it comes along, it kind of throws them off gaurd. Well, you be the judge. There are a couple reasons that I don't wear it. My first reason, I don't have the time for that, my second, I feel good enough with the way I look without it, that I don't think it is worth it to wear it. Just for the heck of it, I took the time the other day, to find out how much longer it would take me to do the whole makeup, hair, and extra time on the clothing thing. 45 minutes, holy cow, I could have made a meal in that time. I already due to the fact that I am an amputee take 45 minutes to an hour to shower and dress every morning... things don't flow too well when you have to hop all over the place in the morning. This brings me to what I am wondering. Men, would you rather have a woman fuss over every detail over her appearance every day and possibly make you late for the rest of your lives. Or would you rather have someone in your life that is confident in who they are enough to not crave that in thier lives day in and day out. Oh and some of you are probably wondering what I look like too. Well you can be the judge of me too. Am I that bad looking without makeup. Or is it just shallow people that are trying to rain on my parade.

Not bad, not bad.

BTW, I am the bouncer for this thread and I have a Red Button directly to the mods, so let's keep it clean.

I would rather have someone who is comfortable with themselves. Makeup or no makeup, that's not the issue.

I choose the girl who puts on that pink lip stick (the watermelon kind) and some light blush. I don't like heavy makeup whatsoever. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

True dat.

Well what I am getting at here, is am I all that bad looking to be put down about my looks. On an average scale, do I hit dog meter or midaverage. I know I am not beautiful, but I dunno if I would rank myself as dog ugly.

My ex was great, even w/o makeup...that's the kind of woman I want. But a little makeup now and then doesn't hurt either.

I'm not down on my looks, I think I look good. Never have a problem with attracting anyone. I am just looking for pretty much a vote on how good I look.

I would hope you would be able to realize that anyone that puts down other people over things they have little control over is not someone who's opinion you should really care about.

Ok, you guys can just ignore me asking for a vote on my looks, lets just concentrate on the real issue here. What would you prefer in a woman.

I think if you wanted a definitive answer you should setup poll with linking
two pictures, a without make-up pic and a with makeup pic.

As for what I think, frankly it depends on the girl. Some girls look good with
make-up, while others dont. Some girls dont need make-up while others look
better with it. I guess what is true is that too much make-up is never good.

Like in the Movie "The Ladies Man"

One of my favorite actresses Julianne Moore had a scene where she got freaky with the "Ladies Man" in clown gear

Frankly, I can't judge your case, as you offered a pic that wasn't in the best caption. You have your prescribed glasses on, which is usually a no-no. It defeats the point of makeup versus no makeup. Glasses, no matter what direction it alters your appearance, os still a form of interference that also alters the outcome of your experiment (in regards to judging makeup vs. no makeup).

Personally, I hardly ever wear makeup. And when I do, I wear it mildly. I'm just not one who likes to do it. And I do not think that I'm ugly, so I don't feel the urge to put it on. I do think that makeup for a woman has become such a norm that even naturally beautiful women feel the urge to wear it. And if she doesn't have it on, then she feels ugly. Even men are starting to get that makeup thing in the entertainment and fashion industry. I don't get it.

When I wear makeup on those special occasions, it's mild makeup that simplifies my beauty.

The Make-Up Industry is one that capitalizes on the low-self esteem of women furthered by beauty magazines like Cosmo.
