Which DVD Burner to buy?

I recently read the DVD burner article up at tomshardware.com and in that article the NEC ND-3540a really impressed me and since I was looking to purchase a new drive for my new computer I was wondering which one to buy. While searching I also came across the NEC ND3550a which seemed like it was a newer revision and on top of that it was ~$10 cheaper. I was wondering which would be a better burner to buy. Both come in at around 40-50 dollars shipped via an online retailer.

I recently bought the 3550, my third NEC dvd burner. Great burner. Quiet, quick and reliable.
