I just installed my l90d+ yesterday and after playing with it for a few hours I've come to the conclusion; I like it for games but not for basic desktop/static use. I've tried playing with the brightness and contrast controls but no matter what I do I still get a slightly washed out look with a tad to much overall brightness.
I sit behind dual vp191b at work and have installed and played with every single one of the dell flat panels except for the 2405, generally in dual monitor setups. We even have some lower line viewsonics and acers in some office worker's cubes and none of them exhibit this much of a wash out.
Guess I'm a little bumped and hopefully I can find the right settings to change my mind.
But dosen't your video card have anything to do with the video quality? I use a x800XT, which I would think gives better video quality compared to an older video card. I think I read with the L90D+ that contrast set at 60-65 or something is nice.
One thing I disliked about the Dell 2005fpw was ghosting in gaming.
