which PSU should I get?

I have a PC with a Biostar M6VLQ mobo, celeron cpu, 1 hdd, 1 floppy drive, 1 cdrom drive, a scanner/skuzzi card and 256mb ram. The PSU in it fried (I have installed another test psu and it fired up)but I am not sure what to get for a replacement. The burned one is only a 100watt psu and I am sure that is too small for this system.

Any suggestions/ Links to good psu's or reviews?

I guess most ppl in here will agree that some extra money for a good brand is definitly a good investment. Antec is probably one of the best producers, especially their TruePower series. But Fortron isn't bad either as well as BeQuiet. Basically u have to look at the specs of the PSU very closly, the combined power, the 3 different Volt rails and so on ...

Give us a clue about the money u wanna spend and your the "noise" u wanna have

PS: For your setup I'd reccomend a good 300 or 350 PSU. Should do the job pretty good. If u plan on upgrading sometime near, maybe even a 420.


EDIT: I have a Antec TruePower 430 PSU. 2 fans, 80mm and 92mm, both temp controlled, 2 S-ATA power connectors, extra case fan connectors, 3 years waranty, damn silent.... not that I try to convince u here

It has adjustable pots if your voltages are low.
