Which spyware software is the best

My window systems are affected with a spyware virus telling me that your computer is affected with unwanted virus bold on my computer screen, and when i restarted the computer, the software called scan tools will display a dialogue box and it will be scanning my system for virus and latter tell me that until i purchase the software before all the virus can be clean. what can i do.....please it extremely urgent.......someone should help me out.

Sadly, reinstalling Windows may be the fastest way to clean it off and take care of it. It's just not the greatest method if you don't have/do regular backups.

But you already have a virus. It's called Scan Tools. Try clearing it off using your normal antivirus software, or download and use AVG, Avira, or Avast if you don't already have antivirus.

Sounds like you've got that virus that's been going around. You have to boot into safe mode to delete it, since it takes over all of your processes and kills them when you try to run anything. You can usually find it either on the desktop via a shortcut (look at the path to a weirdly-named .exe file) or in the startup list in msconfig. It's usually in either the user's or global's application data folder.
