Which system produces less heat?

I have the A8N32-SLI with an X2 4200+ Dual Core and even with the stock cooler it was only about 40C idle, 46C load. With the Arctic Cooler Freezer 64 pro, knock 2C off of each. I am going to order some AS5 to try and get a few more degrees off. This is overclocked 10% too.

I cannot imagine the A8R32-MVP would be cooler stock. The N32 has the heatpipe, which I'd have to believe buys you something. The N32 also has the 8 phase power system and stack-2-cool layout. You should check to see if the R32 has these features too. Based on my experience so far with ASUS, I'd bet that either of these boards are great boards and can be cooled just fine. If you have a high desire to go nVidia, get the N32. If you really want ATI, get the R32, obviously.

Is there any special reason you need to know which is cooler like you live in an area with high ambient temps?

The heatpipe tells me the board puts off a lot more heat than one that doesn't need a heatpipe.

Mostly theoretical. But ya, I'm having trouble deciding between the boards as I don't do any gaming.
