Which xbox "revision" is better?

I'm looking to get a used one, and I noticed that there are several revisions (1.0-1.4)...is any version particularly better than the other? If so, why?

I'm guessing the newer versions probably have better dvd drives and whatnot, but it'd be nice if someone could confirm that..

But the earliest version tends to have the most bugs for some games (such as KOTOR)

i've got a v1.0 and v1.1 in my hands, and i'm not sure which one to keep and which one to give away...

How can you tell what version XBOX you have?............

for some you can tell by the dates, otherwise you gotta open it up try www.xbox-scene.com they have a tutorial there somewhere that will help ya

well, when ms puts out their 1080 progressive scan one, i will just take a hammer to mine and take it back to best buy. (i gots the NQA return policy )

Keep the 1.1, it's not so new that it's uncracked, and not so old to have no bug fixes.
