Mom's in Korea for her mother's funeral, dad's out working...

I'm home wondering how you cook chicken...=/

I'm making Chicken Fetuccini Alfredo. Got the fetuccini, got the sauce, and even some garlic bread. But how do I cook this chicken? I bought skinless/boneless thighs...there are 4 of them.

At first I was going to just throw them in boiling water and let them cook, but I have a feeling that I'm supposed to cook them on a skillet?

Any chefs out there? Hopefully I'll get a reply before I starve tonight. ;P

Season it and cook it on the skillet. Salt and pepper should be good enough. If you have some garlic, stuff the cloves into the center of the chicken. Then cook it at medium high to medium heat on skillet for about 15-20 minutes or until there's no more pink inside.

Or you can try baking it. Takes longer but it'll crisp up the skin on it.

Cut the boneless chicken up into either strips or cubes (depending on what you want to eat). Heat a little bit of oil in a skillet, brown the chicken for about a minute or so, then drain the oil, add a little water or chicken broth (not much, just 1/4-ish) and cook the chicken for another five or ten minutes, until it's cooked through. The smaller the pieces, the faster they'll cook. Then drain the liquid off, add your alfredo sauce and serve!

I think it would taste much better if you cut the raw chicken into bite size strips and sautee (fry at med high heat) until browned in a little olive oil. Try adding a clove (not the whole bulb) of minced garlic when sauteeing and some salt and pepper. When the chicken is browned, take it off the heat and then toss it with the cooked pasta and heated sauce when you are ready to eat.

Yummmmmmm.

Good luck.

Cook the Fetuccini first, boil water, add a teaspoon of salt, add the fetuccini, cover and cook for about five minutes and cut off the heat. The Alfredo sauce, put it in a pot and warm at a low to medium heat. The chicken, cut the chicken in strips, it is easiest to do when it is semi-frozen with a sharp knife. If you got some seasoning (lowery season salt is good, dale's steak sauce in moderation is good also), mix the seasoning in with the chicken strips, and throw it on a skillet at medium heat until thoroughly cooked. Now if you rather grill it don't cut up the chicken breast, just season to please and throw it on a grill at medium to high heat and cook thoroughly and when done, slice and dice. When the chicken is done, set it to the side. Drain and rinse the fetuccini and fix you plate with it, add the chicken, and last but not least, cover in alfredo sauce. Meal of meals, you got dinner, where is ours?

Simple instructions:

Get a skillet (preferrably one with higher sidewalls to prevent splashing), add 1 tablespoons of olive/vegetable oil and place it on the stove setting the burner to medium-high heat. Wait about 2 minutes for the oil to get hot. Place the chicken in the skillet, cook for about 4 minutes, flip the pieces over, cook for another 4 minutes. The chicken should have a light-brownish color (but not cooked through inside). Add the alfredo sauce and cover the skillet. Turn down the heat to medium. Occasionally lift the cover and watch the sauce to make sure it doesn't boil over...it should simmer, which means you'll see a mild bubbling. Leave the chicken in this sauce for 15 minutes or more. While the chicken is simmering in the sauce, cook the pasta. When the pasta is done, so should the chicken.
