Other than a duratec engine block I can't see too many simularities with a 6. Particularly the "ride".

I have a Contour SVT, but that doesn't help you, does it?
I love it! It is by far the most fun car to drive I have ever had.Originally posted by: Trinitron

Check it out
That is it in a nut-shell, but I would also add:Cons:
- Crappiest auto transmission ever.
- Expensive 60k maintenance on the V6.
- Common cam sprocket failures in the V8.
- Water pump failures.
Ford's published HP/TQ rating was found to be over-rated, BTW. The 3.0L SHO barely hit the 200HP mark on several independent dynometer tests.

Think I would take a Spirit R/T over a SHO. 224hp 4 banger and although they aren't super reliable either it sounds like its better than the SHO.

Well to be honest thats any car - the manufacturers rate HP at the fly-wheel and not the wheels, when you dyno a car on a chasis then there is a 15% driveline loss.

This was corrected for drivetrain loss.Well to be honest thats any car - the manufacturers rate HP at the fly-wheel and not the wheels, when you dyno a car on a chasis then there is a 15% driveline loss.
