Pick I don't think Hillary or Frist have a chance in hell against moderates unless they both run at the same time.

Kerry/Edwards up for re-election against Giuliani and a VP to be named later.

McCain, if the Republicans can purge the Neocons. And I'll vote Republicans. Who says I'm a liberal?

Jeb bush. Guliani and McCain, are way to liberal for the modern republican party and I personally only see the republicans going further to the right.

I know that it will never happen but my dream ticket is McCain/Obama.

Or just re-elect Kerry/Edwards!!!

Someone out of a Governorship, Jeb maybe with a moderating VP to steer him.

Won't be a DeLay or a Frist, too polarizing, could be Talent out of Missouri though,
someone who has a short enough history that there's little or no known baggage
outside of their home district.

List of Senators

Linsy Graham - SC maybe.

Not much there that would be acceptable, some use their personalities as a form of birth control.

House ain't much better, maybe worse

Governors looks pretty grim

Not very promising is it.

If Kerry loses tomorrow (which I don't see happening), I'm sure Obama will run for the dems in '08. I wouldn't be surprised to see Jeb Bush run.. but if his brother gets re-elected and his second term is anything like his first, Jeb won't have a snowballs chance in hell.

I don't think Gulliani would run for President. VP, maybe, but not POTUS.

I'd look for a Republican primary including Frist, McCain, and possibly Jeb as the heavyweights. it's hard to predict who'd win the primaries, though, since the Republican party could undergo a major change in the next 4 years, especially if GW loses tomorrow.

For the Democrats, assuming Kerry loses... Hillary is the front-runner if she wants it. But despite all the speculation, I wouldn't be suprised if she didn't want it. I'd also expect a reappearence of John Edwards and Jon Corzine (especially if decides not to take over as NJ Governor, and choses instead to stay in Federal politics)

Anyways, I wouldn't mind seeing McCain run, although I'm not sure about who for VP.(certainly not Guiliani)

having Gulliani run for Potus or VPotus would bring up a lot of baggage that could put a screeching halt to his campaign. namely, his cheating on his wife while in public office and the way he tramples on civil liberties in NYC.

and 4 years from now, his post-9/11 glow will have pretty much vanished.

I want Dean to come back, or a Libertarian candidate with a realistic chance at winning.

The BUSH family name is ruined, and will permanently be ruined come November 3rd.

No one would touch another Bush with a 10 kilometer pole.

They are DEAD FISH - good riddance!

Hmm... Titor hints Hillary will win it in '08. At first I thought that doesn't make sense because Kerry will win this time and why wouldn't he run again... but then another supposed TT says that Kerry dies while in office (Cancer I think it was).

So maybe Hillary vs. Guiliani?

I think Kerry vs. Cheney is likely really.

Kerry runs for re-election against McCain, I think.

There has to be a reason McCain has campaigned for the President this year, in spite of the astoundingly nasty tricks Rove played on him in 2000, and I get the sense the RNC has pretty much told him, he's their guy in 2008.

I can't see Cheney running for president (at least not with a realistic chance of winning). mostly because of health concerns, but also because he's the devil.
