Who's been to Vegas before?

I know the legal age for gambling in Las Vegas is 21 (I'm a few months away from turning 21), but how strict are they? Do they actually card you? Or do you just walk into the Casino and start gambling, and as long as you don't look like a teenager you won't get stopped?

when i was 18 i went in there to a video poker machine and sat and played for a while, but once i started winning a little bit immediately was approached and asked for ID, when i said i had none they asked me to leave/return to my room.

I used to get away with what you just described, but that was a long time ago now. Just go for it, because all they'll do is ask you to leave the casino, it's not like you get arrested or anything.

Don't hover around the slots when you first enter either. Just walk right in and sit down at a table... should get you through.

Yup. They are a bussiness. They kick you out if you win too much regardless of age or attitude.

But I do recall seeing several unattended children playing slots when I was at Ceasars.

I went about a month ago with my dad and younger brother, I didn't get bothered but my brother got carded several times in several different casinos.

They will card you sometimes, and wont sometimes. It's not really possible to predict.

I spent two years, from sixteen to eighteen hanging around casinos in Vegas. Playing slot machines until someone saw me and kicked me out. I just went to the next casino and did it again. If I hit a winner that caused one of the bells to go off, it was time to grab the coins and leave immediately.
