In regards to the GPS issue I've been seeing it looks like it might be something related to the nexus and not OS specific. I've seen reports it's been happening across stock ICS/JB and multiple ROM's.

I fired up my droid incredible 2 and GPS in gmaps locked fine.

My GPS is fine. Still locks extremely fast and accurate regardless if I'm stationary or moving. GSM GNex with stock everything.

Have you used your GPS? Mine will report me 1/4 of a mile or so off my actual location. I noticed a few others mentioning the same thing in the thread.

I had this issue yesterday but it seems to have resolved itself today. Mine is now spot on.

So many cool features

Hold down the home or any button and a little thing will come up allowing Google search

And try the old ICS easter egg.

Hold it on that screen and you get interactive jelly beans

I want it but my phone doesn't even have a stable CM9 build yet.

I'm guessing this will be CM10?

Even if your phone gets it eventually, it won't be the same. To get the best experience, Google referenced product is required, aka Nexus. Best and cheapest way to experience it if you don't have Galaxy Nexus is through the $200 Nexus 7 tablet.

It's already ported to the Nexus S but tons of things aren't working and need my phone 100% for work but I'm tempted to at least try it out for the night.

I'm in the same situation with my phone.

ICS is nice to the point that it's tempting to use it and ignore the stuff that doesn't work. I really like it and I'm excited about Jelly Bean.

I'm envious of all you guys. All I get is a HTC Hero CDMA. Oh well. I'm hopeful that I can get a new phone soon since my contract has been up and a lot of new phones are coming out. Why are google referenced product a requirement to experience JB?

Because they're the only phones so far that have been confirmed to be getting it.

Lots of apps crashing.

Like palringo. I can't do anything besides chat. No picture sending or adding groups.

Really starting to like Google Now. This morning it had the traffic ready to go for my commute to work. Yesterday I was eating out, and it had a card popped up with other restaurants in the area with good reviews. I also love that I don't have to press another button to get it to search. Just open phone to Google Now, say "Google" and I'm off.

Google Now was extremely helpful this morning. I was putzing around the house planning on leaving around 8 or 8:30 like usual, when my phone gave me a vocal reminder that I had a clinic appointment and to leave within 15 minutes to get there on time.

That was impressive to me. It's one thing to remind you when you have an appointment coming up. But to actually look at the location field and get driving directions, then figure out when you have to leave? Pretty awesome. Saved me some embarrassment and trouble for sure.

How do you get it to do this?

It should automatically figure out where your work and home locations are after a few days, but you can enter them manually to speed up the process. It's a bit convoluted but here's what you do:

1. Open Maps
2. In the upper left corner, tap on the menu that says "Maps" and choose "Location History"
2b. I don't remember specifically, but I believe if you don't have Latitude enabled, at this point it will prompt you to turn it on.
3. Press menu in the lower right corner. From here you can set both your home and work locations.

By default, Google Now is set up to notify you of traffic conditions before your commute to work and back home. So that should be all you need to do. The cards should appear first thing in the morning and sometime in the afternoon. If they don't, you can press "Show More Cards" at the bottom.

Ah, it's only been a day since I've had it on, so that's probably why, but I will try doing it manually.
