It is easy to tell that kemosabe does not know much about rap because of what he has posted

The Hard Corps is lead guitar, bass, drums a DJ and vocalists. The Roots have lead, bass, drums, keyboard and DJ. There are quite a few that use more than just beats.

The last rap I listened to that didn't make me want to vomit was A Tribe Called Quest and Run D.M.C. oh and how could I forget the Beastie Boys. That said, the majority of rap out there, is nothing more than a "mine's bigger than yours is" shouting match between people of below-average intelligence. There's the occasional exception (like Puff Daddy, or Jay-Z) that actually does something with their money. Hearing a bunch of guys go off about how many ho's they got and the bling bling off their dubs and similar ilk is just nauseating.
