It's not a good idea to "do LSD for a while." It's not to be trifled with. Drugs of that nature should be accorded the highest respect. The idea of using them habitually is worse than absurd, it's pretty damn dangerous. People should know that before taking them.

That's the thing, if doing something even moderately habitually will screw you up big time the government should control in some way. Also, what would the world look like if lsd was legalized and everyone was going around trippin balls?

You want the government to determine whats best for everyone? Eating only candy bars all day will screw you up big time, probably kill you faster than LSD ever would. Should the government regulate candy bars?

These drugs are illegal because the government says so, there is no good reason. People should be able to do what the fuck they want to, even if it is bad (oh noes) for them.

How could any grown adult want another person or factor controlling their own decisions? I'm sorry your parents can't tell you what to do anymore, grow up.

LSD can definately be one of the most eye/mind opening things you ever experience but it can just as easily be the scariest most terrifying thing you ever experience. I have experienced both and have my reservations about the legalization of it.

As people mentioned in other posts the sheer strength of a just a tiny bit can cause a person to lose control of themselves and their actions. As opposed to alcohol or marijuana (which I support the legalization of) not much is going to happen if try a little bit.

There's also the fact that you could put a drop in someone's drink, you could accidentally absorb some or not be responsible enough to use LSD.

Many people will argue that there are many adults not responsible enough to consume alcohol, but I can guarantee there are far more adults lacking the responsiblities to take LSD and all of the other associated responsibilities to go along with it.
