Well, Bush knew New Orleans was disproportionately poor. He obviously could not reverse the hurricane, but he was well-aware of the fact that a large portion of the city simply had no means of evacuation -- they could not afford transportation fare or did not have a car.

There was a ripe opportunity for the Bush/Cheney corporate empire to make some short-term profits and, through inaction, they took advantage of it.

I'd love to know where you get your drugs, your on some doozy's now. Do you think the government could have forcefully moved against thier will the people from thier homes before the hurricane hit? There is this thing called stupid people that live in a city below sealevel who knew already what could happen and still didn't leave, and did nothing about it. What do you think could/should have happened and what did happen are only differed by your own uneducated imagination, fueled by CNN's ignorance and showing the world images and propoganda that would fuel thier profits.
