Because I eat meat, and I don't care about the 'suffering' of animals. I'm sorry, but since I'm not concerend, it's no better than those crazy ass christian evangalists that have to push their agenda on you. That's why.

They need to STFU, just like all the other fringe nuts!

PETA can have my chicken sandwich (my lunch) when they pry it from my cold, dead fingers!

Somehow I'm not too fond of eating meat anymore even if some find it tasty. Has anyone tried slaughtering an animal yourself such as chicken, cows or pigs and eat them? I doubt but that's what we are doing today. I need something to eat but it doesn't have to be meat all the time. I'd avoid them if it's not too healthy as today meat products are not natural. My favorite stuff to eat is chicken but their getting worse due to over fattening and taste like motor oils, don't like pork, don't like beef. Fish is alright, I'm not fond of them due to the heavy odors they have on them.
I'm not completely a vegetarian yet but reducing meat consumption is infact healthy.
I'll take soymilk over milk. I can live on noodle + vegetable 24hrs a day no problems.
If you have a choice of sparing an animal over vegetable because you find it to be cruel, wouldn't you feel better? Animals are raised as if they are vegetable, they are not.
I find animal domestication to be quite evil, this wouldn't happened if someone hadn't caught them in the wild then decide to raise them for food and make a lot of money out of it.
Hell, people will eat anything these day if it's convenient to do so whether it is pig stomach, cow stomach, chicken heart, pigs liver etc. Peta can't even stop everyone from eating meat as far as I now but they have convinced some not to eat meat which is a great accomplishment.

Did you know that most people never eaten vegetable in their entire life? Kids today hate vegetable and were complaining about corns, carrots, peas in a soup can and wants me to take it out for them. WTF?

My apartment complex won't let me keep a slaughterhouse...

Raised and butchered rabbits and chickens. Had an organic farm while I was a kid too.

We call it division of labor
I need something to eat but it doesn't have to be meat all the time.
okay...

Natural != healty
My favorite stuff to eat is chicken but their getting worse due to over fattening and taste like motor oils,

don't like pork, don't like beef. Fish is alright, I'm not fond of them due to the heavy odors they have on them.
Good for you
I'm not completely a vegetarian yet but reducing meat consumption is infact healthy.
Depends on your reference point, a blanaced diet is healty. Too much meant, or no meat are both unbalanced. You can make up for the lack of protien, but most veggies fail to do so.
I'll take soymilk over milk.
"Where's the soy nipple?" -- it's soy juice and it's not a real milk substitute
I can live on noodle + vegetable 24hrs a day no problems.
you probably can stand them, but you can't LIVE that way
If you have a choice of sparing an animal over vegetable because you find it to be cruel, wouldn't you feel better?
But I don't find it cruel
Animals are raised as if they are vegetable, they are not.
Clearly...so?
I find animal domestication to be quite evil, this wouldn't happened if someone hadn't caught them in the wild then decide to raise them for food and make a lot of money out of it.
What wouldn't have happened? Are you saying they wouldn't have been domesticated if...they hadn't been domesticated? Also, you seem to think that domestication itslef is evil, not the methods? What about pets?
Hell, people will eat anything these day if it's convenient to do so whether it is pig stomach, cow stomach, chicken heart, pigs liver etc.
And? Is there soemthing more evil about eating one part of an animal over another? I thought veggies were MAD when all of the animal was not used.
Peta can't even stop everyone from eating meat as far as I now but they have convinced some not to eat meat which is a great accomplishment.
In your opinion it is a great accomplishment. 99% of the population does not see things your way. At all.

Did you know that most people never eaten vegetable in their entire life? Kids today hate vegetable and were complaining about corns, carrots, peas in a soup can and wants me to take it out for them. WTF?
100% of people have eaten vegetables in their life. Period. EVERYONE HAS. Almost all kids hate the taste of veggies. It's part of being a kid.

Cliffs: Stop being a closedminded, shortsited ass.

I see little or no difference in killing an animal vs. killing a veggie.

Both are living things. Both are bred/grown for human consumption. Both taste mighty good. Both eventually die so that they can fill your stomach.

We have sharp pointed teeth for a reason . . . to eat meat.

2. They are against testing ... you know, sacrificing Animals in the name of progress/science/medicine to save human lives and/or save lots of money

I'm sure If I reasearched more into PITA I could find a LOT more to dislike about them, however, I already hate them enough, so I'm done for now.
Penn & Teller's Bullsh!t! show also pointed out that they are hypocrites about this: PETA officers are fine with using existing animal-tested drugs, and animal-produced insulin.

They justify this by saying that their work is so important that it's a lesser evil for them to benefit from animal testing and use, even while funding "animal liberation" terrorists to firebomb labs testing new drugs.

Your eyes are in the front of your head for a reason.

If humans were meant to be hippies, our eyes would be on the sides or our heads, a la Llamas.

I remember an ad campaign where PETA tried to say that slaughterhouses were the equivalent of Nazi concentration camps. That should tell you just how nuts they are. Who in their right mind would compare cows being slaughtered for food and nourishment, to the HUMAN life lost in concentration camps in the war.

Point of the matter is that PETA is a self righteous group who think they have the right to shove their idea's down everyone elses throat.

Are you really that stupid that you believe that? Want to buy a bridge? Cheap? No one, not even you, could be that gullible to believe that drivel. BTW, most babies start out eating baby food such as strained carrots. Time to grow a brain...

I would attempt to disagree with RobCur's claims, but what's the use? Most uneducated fanatics refuse to listen to logic. That's what makes them fanatics in the first place.

P.S. I love prime rib.

I honestly don't think you're aware of this, but you're clearly a PETA member. Even if you've never attended a meeting or anything, you obviously agree with most of what they say.
I'm not completely a vegetarian yet but reducing meat consumption is infact healthy.
Myth. Not saying it's impossible to eat healthy without meat, but to say meat in and of itself is less healthy than other food sources is just propoganda b.s. Show me a study that says that meat is unhealthy and I'll show you 5 more that either can't say one way or the other or conclude the opposite.
I'll take soymilk over milk.
You are not from this planet.

No. Animals eat animals all the time. It's nothing new. Just because we may not HAVE to or are really freaking good at it doesn't mean it's wrong for us and right for a leopard.
I find animal domestication to be quite evil, this wouldn't happened if someone hadn't caught them in the wild then decide to raise them for food and make a lot of money out of it.
No no no no no no. Get it straight: FIRST we ate one because we needed food and realized they were tasty and filled our appetite, THEN we started domesticating and raising them for food. We're not just domesticating them and killing them because we're d1cks.
Did you know that most people never eaten vegetable in their entire life? Kids today hate vegetable and were complaining about corns, carrots, peas in a soup can and wants me to take it out for them. WTF?
A) This is also fvcking bullsh1t. There are NO fvcking kids out there that haven't eaten vegetables. Vegetables are cheaper: you'd have to be pretty rich to live off a solely meat-oriented diet. Trust me, I did Atkins for awhile. It's expensive. I started by eating only meat, but you have to switch to low-carb veggies after awhile or I'd be in the poor house.
B) Who the fvck cares if there ARE kids out there that have only eaten meat? As long as it's not all deep-fried chicken, you can live off it. You'll need vitamins as well and you're definitely missing some things that you should have, but as I've shown, that's very expensive, and very unlikely.
C) How is kids not liking vegetables new?

EDIT: I've decided to go to the butcher to stock up on all the meat I can afford tonight to make up for RobCur's lack of eating meat. Who's with me?!
