Why I'm Voting Democrat

1. I'm voting Democrat because I believe the government will do
a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

2. I'm voting Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as
long as no Democrat is offended by it.

3. I'm voting Democrat because if we pull out of Iraq and
Afghanistan immediately, I trust that the bad guys will stop what they're
doing because they now think we're good people.

4. I'm voting Democrat because I believe that people who can't
tell us if it will rain on Friday CAN tell us that the polar ice caps will
melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.

5. I'm voting Democrat because I'm not concerned about the
slaughter of 45 million babies so long as we keep all death row inmates
alive.

6. I'm voting Democrat because I believe that a business should
not be allowed to make a profit for themselves. They need to break even and
give the rest away to the government for redistribution as they see fit.

7. I'm voting Democrat because I believe three or four pointy
headed elitists need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some
fringe kooks who would never get their agendas past the voters.

8. I'm voting Democrat because I believe that when the
terrorists don't have to hide from us over there any longer, and they come
over here, I don't want to have any guns in the house to fight them off
with.

9. I'm voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now
marry whoever I want. I've decided to marry my horse.

10. I'm voting Democrat because I believe oil companies'
profits of 8% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the
same gallon of gas 15% isn't.

11. I'm voting Democrat because I believe government is wiser
than I am, regarding the raising of my children.

12. I'm voting Democrat because I believe in religious freedom,
as long as we're not talking about Christianity.

13. I'm voting Democrat because I believe that the Constitution
is a 'living document' that changes with our society.

14. I'm voting Democrat because I believe that 'separation of
church and state' is in the Constitution.

15. I'm voting Democrat because I believe that the government
has the right to allow my daughter to have an abortion without my knowledge,
even though I have to give MY permission for her to get her ears pierced.

Yes, obviously anything in the constitution regarding transportation is limited to horses and buggies; anything about arms, to flintlocks; free speech doesn't include tv or internet, etc.

3. I'm voting Republican because if we never get out of Iraq and Afghanistan in 100 years, America FUCK YEAH! Even when our troops are committed there and Russia attacks us.

4. I'm voting Republican because I believe that people who can't tell us if it will rain on Friday CAN tell us that we should blow all our paychecks on 10 mpg SUVs.

5. I'm voting Republican because I think women should be subservient to men in all things.

6. I'm voting Republican because I believe that a business should not be allowed to make a profit for themselves unless they are a mega-corporation getting a fat government bailout with a golden parachute for the CEOs who fscked it all up.

7. I'm voting Republican because I believe three or four pointy headed elitists need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would never get their agendas past the voters, like waterboarding at Guantanamo, revoking habeas corpus, or crushing free speech.

8. I'm voting Republican because I believe it when the government tells me it can protect me from terrorists.

9. I'm voting Republican because I'm infatuated with what goes on in my neighbors' bedrooms.

10. I'm voting Republican because I believe oil companies and oil-producing foreign nations should rule us as our masters forever.

11. I'm voting Republican because I believe government should raise everyone else's children according to my (and only mine) own personal belief system.

12. I'm voting Republican because I don't believe in religious freedom, except when it's my religion.

13. I'm voting Republican because I believe that the Constitution is something that changes according to partisan talking points.

14. I'm voting Republican because I believe church tithes should be collected as part of the federal income tax.

15. I'm voting Republican because I don't trust my poorly-raised whore daughter to not get an abortion without coming to me first.

Yea..why are we posting spam chain emails? Que?

The Republican campaign seems to have been focusing lately on just spouting off bullshit and trying to win through viral marketing by chain forwarding e-mails with no basis in reality whatsoever. As long as they keep this up and not focus on real issues they are winning through mass disinformation.

If I vote, I will vote for Obama because...

1. The Republicans deserve to lose the presidential election as a matter of principle. Having given us the worst president in American history, a president, a legislature, an administration, and a political party that presided over a dramatic increase the speed at which the nation is transforming into an impoverished third world country devoid of a middle class, they deserve to lose.

2. It would be nice to have a president with a high IQ for once. It would be nice to have a president who has the intelligence needed to graduate from Harvard Law School with honors and to edit the Harvard Law Review.

3. A vote for McCain is a vote for Palin--a raging religious fanatic. In contrast to Obama's high IQ, Palin's strong religious belief implies that she has a low IQ and that she is silly and irrational. Palin is also despicable and evil because she opposes abortion even in the case of rape, essentially advocating the enslavement and further victimization of a victimized woman in the name of saving an embryo or a fetus that doesn't even have a developed brain (ain't no human personality in there). I know that America can do better than a moron like Sarah Palin.

The "living document" theory goes much beyond that as you should know. It doesn't just mean we should find how the document applies to new situations. It means the words are flexible in the hands of the judges, even concerning the same situations that existed in the past.

Voting Democrat is only in your best interests if you want to personally witness the works of Karl Marx, Stalin, Mao, and Castro.

This is 2008. All of the major politicians lean to the right at least a little bit. You basically got centrist, moderate right wing and fully right wing. Nobody is even close to Karl Marx, Stalin, Mao, or Castro. That is a complete bullshit argument.

Not at all. All those monsters actually really do live under his bed. You could put him on Hawaii 10,000 years ago and he would still see their faces in coconuts.

lol, i like it even though I lean towards the Dems on most issues. I was so close to voting for Obama. Glad the election is in Nov. and not 2 months ago. Maybe the debates will sway me back but I doubt it.

The monster of a government abusing its people also lived under the beds of the men who wrote our Constitution. It was explicitly crafted to protect us from everything you want to foster.

What exactly does Moonbeam want to foster that makes you hysterically clutch your tattered, right wing security blanket so?

Thanks for the history lesson, Jaskalas! Until today, I had no idea Marxism predated the Constitution!
