The fact that thousands of people in other countries protest against the US only points out that they are ill-informed. We have people in Berkeley protesting, too, but we know they are just ignorant. You claim we are slaves that tout the company line, yet I believe no other country has access to not only more quantity but more unbiased information. And I'd love to see how many people would turn out for such "protests" if there was no media coverage.

I am all for the fact that investments can generate wealth. It's what made us the biggest economy in the world; an economy on which many other countries are dependent. If you could only profit from work, there's not much hope of ever becoming wealthy, is there?

You lose much credibility when you say war is the wealth of the state. I am fairly certain we are not going around the world indiscriminately pounding on unsuspecting countries. Don't hit us, we won't hit you.

They used to be teachers and doctors. AFAIK there are still a very very few women doctors, but most of them have left, and since it's illegal to school women there are no new ones coming in. Since women can only see female doctors in that country obviously there is a gross lack of health care and as a result women there suffer from otherwise fairly benign illnesses.

Then there are some people, like you, that come here to start trouble. Have you nothing better to do? You are currently living in the greatest country in the world. Always nice to see differing opinions as I am one who believes the world is never as good as it could be and the USA of all places could be 10x what it is. But sadly, you bash people for getting information from sources such as Fox News, but you do not provide any relative information yourself. Yes I get paid less than I make my company, but so what, you get paid based on what others are willing to do your job for, not what you make the company. You could say immigrants helped bring down what a company is willing to pay a person, should we stop allowing immigrants? Hmmm, I would hope not. I'd love to hear another side, but only when that other side provides tangible evidence and useful ways to better anything, remember that.
