We don't seem to be having problems from the other 75% which are Asian, Indians, African Americans, Etc.

Peace can work. Egypt Jordan Turkey have relations with Israel while Palestine and their horrible neighbor to the east Saudi Arabia spreads their hate. Why we are friends with Saudi Arabia I will never figure out.

There are 1.3 Billion Muslims in the world. It's a big religion which is spread all over the globe with 7-8 Million of them living in the U.S.

Are you sure?

Again and again, ignorance is the problem. This is not new at all.

Please remember that I'm trying to explain what many Muslims believe in the US. I'm not trying to convince you to take their points of view. I think if we need to live in peace and harmony, then we must keep talking and learning from each others. I'm not going to reply to each post, though some are really good and deserve threads by themselves.

1) Injustice and Terrorism are cause and effect. Terrorism is the effect. History did not start three years or ten years ago! I'm trying to explain the reasons that force someone to terrify another. I'm not trying to justify his action. I understand why some of you here keep repeating and counting terrorism attacks. But no one asked why we were attacked. Why not China, Brazil, or Germany for example.

2) Some posts blame Muslims for not understanding the US' point of view. For a man living in an Islamic country, this is really odd! Why? Because many Muslims believe that they are victims of the US government, directly or indirectly. To them, not doing anything against US or Israel is just like keep beaten and not defending yourself.

3) Don't be short-sighted. Open your mind to understand others and admit your mistakes. This does not make you look weak. Don't rely on one source of information. Use the Internet to learn about other points of view. This would give a wider vision and better judgment. Remember, peace would never ever be achieved through wars.

Ummm...shouldn't number 1 be "terrorism is the effect of perceived injustice"
