I would just like to get a general concensus of the % of users in here want to use Vista, and more importantly, why.
I just read this little gem from the Inquirer. Now it's not the average Inq linq full of speculation and possibilities, its a dude giving his opinion of the new OS.

Things to consider:
How is windows Vista better than Windows XP?
How is windows Vista worse than Windows XP?
Count the ways, and weigh them. What do we come up with?
I am only truly interested in this because it's going to cost me a fair bit of coin to bulk up my system to run Vista. Like a DX10 based video card (I know it's not needed to run Vista, but needed to eventually run games that can only run on Vista.) More memory.
Anyways, I would really like to get some feedback on this.
Vista pros:
Ability to play DX10 games (when they come out and if you have a DX10 based graphics card)
Shiny Aero Glas (Yeah? So?)
64-bit support
Improved memory use
Vista cons:
Reduced gaming performance compared to XP (could change over time and most likely will)
Hardware resource hog. (Can run on 512MB of ram, but not very well. MS recommends 2GB)
DRM infections
MS licensing nightmares
Indifferent:
