We have this fairly old Gateway Solo 3100. To give you an idea of how old it is, it runs a Pentium II processor. We know it has a wireless adaptor and all that jazz because at one point it had Windows XP on it, and the wireless worked fine. The problem was that the computer was SUPER slow. There wasn't even enough RAM left to install QuickBooks. So today my boyfriend decides he's going to fix up the little old laptop for my little brother. He installs Windows 98 on it. The laptop runs much better now; however we can't figure out how to make the WiFi work again...
