I would if I had the $, but tuition, gas and social (i.e. gf) costs are too high.
The other thing is, I'm no longer an avid gamer as I was up to age 13 (grade 8). Before that, I used to play the NES and Super NES obsessively. I was a master of Mario Kart and Street Fighter II (two of the best games ever created, imo).
Now times have moved on.
However, I still have much nostalgia for Nintendo and am very loyal to them. I can't wait to be able to play Shigeru Miyamoto's new Mario, Metroid, Zelda, Waverace or Mario Kart.
I don't think any real, veteran gamer can resist the Nintendo charm for superlative game mechanics and innovation.
