win 2k install over xp

Hi. I would like to install win 2k over my xp installation. Has anyone done this and can It be done at all. Thanks a lot.

you can do it if you format the hdd first.

Why would you want to?

you can't upgrade from xo down to 2k. windows won't let you. you'd have to reformat.
