Question Win11 GPU requirements relaxed by MSFT?

I have a secondary PC with an old AMD R9 270 GPU. For the longest time Windows 10 said i cannot upgrade. Yesterday i noticed it wants me to upgrade to Win11. I know AMD drivers were not updated in years. So did MSFT relax the requirements for Win11?

I am tempted to upgrade unless someone gives me a compelling reason not to. The taskbar being stuck at the bottom is my main reason not to upgrade either PC i have so far.

The official requirements page allegedly hasn't been updated since Feb 2023 and the last driver update for the 270 was apparently June last year. The only question that remains is whether the last driver update was WDDM 2.0 compliant (which apparently is part of Win10, and dates back as far as 2014). I'd be surprised if the reason that the upgrade was blocked was actually the graphics card support.
