1) my sisters office has a network with 6 comps running WIN2K. All of them have some files that need to be shared and some that shouldnt be.
So what I did was set up 1 user each on each comp under the normal users group (to access unprotected files on other comps) and 1 each under the power users group (to access the private files).
However, when i deny access to a particular folder to all users except the power user on that comp, its still is accessible from other comps. Have tried various combinations of users on the allowed and denied lists but nothing seems to be working.
is there something obvious that i'm missing or whats wrong?
2) She created a new folder on the desktop. Logged off and logged back in. The folder isnt there any more. Any ideas as to why this could be happening?
