Winamp 2.81 output plugins?

Are there any winamp output plugins that actually optimise the sound and make it sound better? Just wondering if there are alternatives to the DirectSound output.

what do you mean SOUND BETTER? what's the matter with it? you mean a DSP that you can control reverb and BASS, etc? Or are your mp3s low sounding and would like to increase the dB? Or do you have a crappy encode and try and make it better?

I was blown away by the difference in sound when using Enhancer as compared to the basic Winamp decoder. I can tell a huge difference....
