Windows 7 review

In general I was highly disappointed with Windows 7. Although performance has improved since Vista, major features appear to have been lopped off the OS to meet these performance marks. Additionally, the hardware incompatibility and stability issues that have long plagued Microsoft OS releases appear to back in full force. Unless you?re one of those deviants who always has to have the latest OS, or have very specialized faxing needs, I?d strongly recommend avoiding Windows 7 until at least the first Service Pack is released.

Umm, this is from Cracked.com which should be a dead giveaway.

For a little more evidence the title of the article is "A Review of the Pirated Copy of Windows 7 I Bought On eBay" and Windows 95 is what is actually reviewed.

Try using Google for any decent website that has reviewed Win7 and you'll find they give it a very positive feedback.

Bottomline Win7 is a very good OS and builds on Vista strengths(there are many) and fixes the performance issues that older hardware had with Vista,my opinion is simple it'll be a success.

That review talks in very non-specific terms. It is more of an anti-MS personal opinion rather than a legitimate review. I have used Win 7 Ultimate (RTM) for several weeks, and have yet to find any thing it doesn't do better than Vista or xp. My bottom line is this: - it is the best OS that Microsoft has produced to date.

I purchased my W7 package from the same eBay seller. It runs very fast, but crashes a lot. I like how MS has removed Product Activation. For some reason, W7 shows my 1 Terabyte hard drive as only 32 MegaBytes, but I can live with it to have the very latest OS.

I heard Windows 7 puts DRM in all of your files just like Vista does. All of my files are loaded with gooey sticky layers of DRM.
