Windows can't find ".bat"

The message says "Windows can't find ".bat"" and then goes on saying something about can't find it try searching some other way....

This happens when I startup my computer and at other random times. Usually when idleing.

.bat is the extension used for batch files. Sounds a little suspicious, I would check for Spy Ware (Use Spybot S&D) and do a virus scan. Failing that check you autoexec.bat file on the root of the C: drive.

if you want to do a search for extensions, do "*.bat" without the quotes. soemtimes windows is stupid.
