While exploring a folder that contains images, jpgs, gifs, etc, And it is set for View as Web Page, it does not display a preview of the image on the left side of folder.
I find that I have this problem, probably after installing Corel Draw 8, since it seems to have hijacked my file associations.
I have looked at the Registry Keys for these file types, .BMP, .GIF, .JPEG, .JPG, .PNG, and .WMF (wmf is the only file extension that corel draw did not hijack).
For all of them except .BMP, the entries are Exactly as they should be in the cut/paste of the related Microsoft article below.
For .BMP, the Shell Ex value is as it should be, but there is also something called 'Shell New' listed below Shell Ex, but it has as default value - no value set, and Null File on the line below default.
It appears that the related article may not be related to my problem??
This problem seems to have appeared just recently, possibly after I finally installed the full pack of my Corel draw stuff. (dream 3d, photo-paint, and draw).
If I uninstall the whole bit of corel, would this re-set my file associations to what they were before?, Or just leave a bigger mess?
Any help is much appreciated.
