Windows Issue

Hi, first of all my specs are i7 4771 , 16 GB DDR 3 RAM , Asus GTX 760 , 700 W PSU , 4 TB Internal HDD , 256 GB Samsung 840 Pro SSD , 4 TB WD My Book External , 2x 24" monitors.
Now I am on windows 8.1 and I am forced to install Windows 8.1 but I like Windows 7 more. Thing is whenever I install Windows 7 , my windows gets slow and buggy. For example when I am browsing in Chrome and Firefox, the time I am opening a new tab, it takes like 3-4 seconds to just open the new tab . Tried re-installing dozens of time, still same issue. Also any other application opening gets slow. Video playback gets slow. Whenever I install Windows 7 , I face those problem but I love to use windows 7 .
Now I am on Windows 8.1 , and my uTorrent is bugged as hell. The time when I am adding a new torrent from kickass or any other site , it takes like 5-7 seconds to add that torrent. The busy cursor appears. I am using Kaspersky Antivirus. Is that the reason why I am experiencing slow movements ?
I already checked with SuperAntispyware and everything is clean.
So can anyone tell what is going on ? I am simple confused. I would really like to go back to Windows 7.

As I am not a technical person, I am not going to try and solve your problem. But I did just get done reading an article about uTorrent. Users are complaining about the software taking up CPU cycles.

Apparently with v3.4.2, users could have "inadvertently" installed code called Epic Scale. The purpose of the software is to use "your computer as part of a Bitcoin farm to generate revenue for third parties"

Make sure all your devices have drivers (Device Manager). Are you running in AHCI mode?

One thing you can try is removing the hard drive and external drive and see how it runs with just the SSD.

It could be Kaspersky, but I ran my desktop with a trial version for a couple days, and didn't experience any major slowdowns, but I don't use uTorrent.

If issues persist, tell us what motherboard you have.

I removed that torrent and installed an old version of uTorrent . Also removed Kaspersky and installed BitDefender. Now I see that the performance is increased. I will be monitoring it for some days.

First of all, there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to use Windows 7 and I'd like to help you with that.

1) Did you make sure you get the Windows 7 drivers from all the diff. component manufacturers? (like chipset, motherboard, audio, LAN, WLAN, ETC) you cannot simply use the Windows 8.1 drivers you need official Windows 7 drivers and have to install them in the right order starting with the Intel Chipset Software, then Intel Management Engine Interface then Intel Rapid Storage Technology then Intel USB 3.0 Extensible Host Driver then Card Reader then VGA then the rest)

2) With regards to you Windows 8 problem, there are many variables here, first of all, you were using Kaspersky, the heaviest security suite on the planet of earth. Now that you switched to Bitdefender things should be better but I hope you used the Kaspersky Removal Tool to properly get rid of all of its registry and file remnants.

3) uTorrent is a VIRUS, never install it! Install qBittorrent which doesn't come with any hidden bundled crapware. Please read this to see how dangerous uTorrent is: http://forums.anandtech.com/showthread.php?t=2423603

PS: Unfortunately, the damage of what uTorrent did to your system is fatal and if I were you I'd format again and never touch anything from that company.
