Hey there all, one question and one sub-question for you.
Q) Does anyone know of any software that enables UNIX-like command prompt capabilities on a win32 system? This isn't, of course, a vital thing, but spending most of my time on solaris, I've become accustomed to having ls, rm, cp, mkdir/rmdir, and tab-file-completion at my fingertips. Anyone know of, perhaps, a stable port of bash or tcsh for win32?
Failing that, I've heard there's an (obscure?) registry entry that enables tab-file-completion in Unix-style in the Windows command prompt. Does anyone know a) what this might be, and b) is it still around in win2k?
Thanks in advance,
