I recenlty installed WinXP Home on one of my systems to check it out a bit.
but having a problem with the refresh rates. (or could be something else)
startup, and desktop is aligned fine, but when i start up the game Counter-Strike,the screen shifts to the left quite a bit.
only shifts when the game starts to load up,and playing the game.
the menu of the game is fine.
and also, the game will only start in D3D.won't run in OpenGL.(use to run fine with Win98SE in OpenGL)
Thought maybe it could be due to the refresh rates since i heard something about WinXP had some refresh rate issues.
Specs:
Voodoo3 3000 PCI - Tried WinXP Default drivers, and also some 3rd party XP drivers from VoodooFiles.com
17" KDS Visual Sensations Monitor - tried both 72 and 75 refresh rates
Cel 500
256Mb Ram
20G IDE HD
Slot1 BX Board
50x Cdrom
WinXP Home
If anyone can help me out i'd appreciate it.
gets frustrating switching screen size back and fourth.
Shawn.
