Wired Connection slower than Wireless

I hope I have the right forum for this, apologies if not!

I just moved and setup cable at the new place. I'm using the same router I've had (Linksys e2000) and I'm running into a weird speed issue.

A computer plugged into the router via ethernet is getting download speed on speedtest of 1.5-2.00 Mbps. This is happening on two computers. Anything connected wirelessly is getting the more expected speeds of 16-20Mbps. Upload speeds are good at 18-21Mbps regardless of connection type.

I don't think I've ever experienced a situation where wired down speed was bad, but wireless was good. Was wondering what I could try.

These are the same cables and the same modem we used at our old place without issue.

Any thoughts on what else I can try or change would be much appreciated.

What I've tried:
- I've tried power cycling, and resetting the router to no avail.
- In case of device conflict, I've unplugged both computers (there are two right now connected via ethernet), and I've plugged in just one at a time to see if there's a difference and both will experience it plugged in by themselves or together. I've tried connecting through a Trendnet 8port Gigabit Switch instead of directly through the router on the wired devices to see if that would make a difference and it hasn't.
- I've down the IPRelease/Renew on both computers to no avail either.

edit: I've tested using speedtest.net, speakeasy speedtest, and brighthouse speedtest and gotten consistent results.

If this is consistent between multiple devices and multiple cables (try a new cable if you haven't already) then it sounds like something is wrong with the router.

Okay, got some more info.

I have tried replacing cables, swapping cables to no avail.
I spoke with my ISP this morning, we switched to a new modem that I got, we're now using a newer motorola surfboard, and the connection seems to be fixed for the wired computers... except one of them.

One of them is now fast, the other is still showing the old behavior. I plugged in another desktop to check, and that one is now fast down (30Mbps), and I've tried using the same cables/ports as the slow desktop (still 1.2Mbps) so it's now a computer specific issue apparently?
