Trying to set up a wireless connection on my existing network....
A D-Link, DI-704P router is being used along with a Uniden WNP1000 WAP. I cannot access the WAP when I try to using the default IP of 192.168.1.10? My router's default IP is 192.168.0.1.
Both my computers are showing on the D-Link configuration page, but only when hard wired- not wireless. It seems as though I need to get my router to recognize the WAP, but the only thing I can set in in the router configuration is the last 4 digits- (I don't think I can change the default table on my router to recognize a 192.168.1.xxx.
How can I get this to work?
The wireless card in my lappy is installed correctly, but I don't know where else to begin.
