I'm using a D-Link DI-524 Rev. A wireless router to access my home network/the Internet. I can't for the life of me get it to work BitTorrent properly. I can download just fine, but I can't upload more than 1 or 2 K per second, and as you know, that severely limits the speed that I can get from downloading, and also means I get really bad ratios on my favourite trackers.
I've got the latest firmware installed. I've tried following the instructions on PortForward.com, and the instructions listed on D-Link's support page. I've also added this computer's IP address to the "DMZ" which is supposed to except it from all firewall rules. I've got the latest firmware installed.
My Googling has only turned up other people with the same problem, but no solutions. Has ANYONE been able to fix this problem with their DI-524 and get BitTorrent to work properly? If anyone can help me I will be eternally grateful and possibly make a shrine to them in my closet.
Thanks
